COVID-19 CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

These virtual classes are in response

to the Covid-19 Shutdown.

  1. All classes are one hour unless noted otherwise, and times are EST. 

  2. Please consider a weekly donation of $5-$10 per instructor to help cover costs and pay the given instructor! 

  3. Exercise at your own risk and make modifications as needed.

Total Body Strength with Adrienne

Strengthen your entire body while focusing on increasing muscular endurance, strength & balance through various but simple exercises. Modifications are ALWAYS included. Grab your bands, weights, water and mat! Sometimes we will use stability balls, so keep that nearby! Don't have any equipment? No problem! We can make it work.

Strength Training with Kathy

Full body workout using hand weights and your own body weight.

Half hour strength training done in a circuit format and half hour yoga stretch. End your week right with this combo class. Options given.

Sh8pe It Up! with Adrienne

This class is a mix of cardio, muscular strength & endurance and balance  with an emphasis on VARIETY, Safety and FUN! I can not promise great music quality but I can promise lots of mistakes!! (Mistakes burn calories, excuses do not) Remember, this is an at your own risk workout and I am not responsible for any injuries, steps, burnt calories- it's all up to YOU!

A fusion class designed to get the best of both worlds: Yoga and Pilates! This class is taught in a flow style so the class keeps moving between the yoga and the pilates formats. Options will be given for common concerns/issues.

Join Patricia for some cardio burning FUN! Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

Sit & Fit with Kathy

This class is designed for beginner exercisers, seniors or folks who prefer to NOT get down on the floor. We will begin with a seated warm up,  progress to strength training with light weights (or water bottles or bags of rice, cans of soup ...or just your own body weight, then end with some balance practice and yoga stretches. All exercises will be performed either in the chair or with the assistance of the chair if standing. Options will be given to accommodate the most common physical issues, but emphasis will be on listening to your body and its signals and always stopping when your body tells you so!

Active Agers with Melanie

5-8 minute Low Impact Warm Up, Strength Training of Basic Muscle Groups, Low Impact Aerobic Work, Functional Movement and Balance Support 5-10 Minute Stretch Cool Down.

Simple Stretch with Adrienne
